The Drivetrain from Kershaw is a newly designed emergency knife. Kershaw put a lot of thought in to the features of this knife including the seatbelt cutter, glass breaker, and overall usage. The seatbelt cutter sits flush in the handle until use, it deploys and naturally guides the seatbelt to be sliced. The glass breaker tip is carbide and easy to use. The D2, high-carbon steel is stonewash finished that hides the blades battle scars over time. The blade opens with Kershaw’s SpeedSafe® assisted opening with a flipper tab or the dual thumb studs. The handle is textured GFN that feels great in the hand.
